They are excellent for propagation, water retention, soil aeration and seed germination. Coco coir bricks can be used in potting, seed stating, bulbs and tubers. It can be used as an alternatives for Peat Moss. The pH value of Peat Moss is low which makes it not suitable to grow all plants, where as, coir blocks have a pH value ranging from 5.5 to 6.5 making it ideal for wide range of plants.
